These are rosettes, a norwegian holday tradition-you dip the hot iron into the batter and then fry it (in lard-eww!). They are very delicious, especially when you dip then in sugar.


This is only a few of the rosettes we made. The burned ones are Debbie's-even though she the real Norwegian, I was better at it than she was! :) I gotta give props to Grandma Marge (Deb's mom). Without her, we would never have figured it out. She is the Queen of Rosette making.
